2026 WOLFGANG JELLINGHAUS “TORRES SE 77” SP/PF GUITAR from GUITAR SALON INTERNATIONAL ($2,500)
This 2026 Wolfgang Jellinghaus “Torres SE 77” pairs a spruce top with pau ferro back and sides in a short-scale (610mm) classical guitar based on an 1884 Antonio de Torres, available in the USA exclusively at GSI.
Based on the 1884 Torres SE 77
Wolfgang Jellinghaus’ exploration of the work of Antonio de Torres led him to build a selection of high-quality, but affordable, models based on original Torres guitars of different sizes, both in body proportions and in string length. For this model he chose a smaller, short-scale Torres from 1884, numbered SE 77. The finish has an “antiqued” look, meant to represent an aged, played-in guitar.
